Hiring the right wedding vendors is so important on your wedding day. The vendors create the backdrop of every moment, every picture and every memory. It gives us great pleasure to introduce this week’s vendor spotlight, Debra Shea Robertson of Atmospheres Floral and Decor.
How long would you say you’ve been doing what you do today?
I started designing when I was a young teenager. My parents wanted to own their own business and they met a man in Orlando that had 2 flower shops. He took them under his wing and taught them the business and they started their own shop in 1975. The rest is history and I am 2nd generation and my daughter has a floral company north of Atlanta and is carrying on the family traditions!
How did your work evolve to get you to where you are today?
Our passion for excellence and attention to detail caught on pretty fast and we now design over 300 weddings each year
What motivates you to do this every day?
Every week is new and no 2 weddings are alike! The challenge of bringing someone’s vision to life and even helping them to create a vision that reflects their personalities never gets old! Every week is a fresh start, a fresh shipment of flowers!
It is like Christmas morning when we open each box of beautiful flowers! (this is the most exciting part of our week)
What fun-fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
I have 6 kids and 4 Grandkids and I love animals! The kids were raised on a small farm in Orlando and at one time we had over 50 animals.
What is the most unique service/product you offer?
We are a full-service floral design company. We can help design not only your flowers but your completed look including linens, chairs, chargers, lighting, monograms, signage, draping, backdrops, Arches, Mandaps, Chuppahs and more.

We take great pride in helping our couples choose the decor that best fits not only their vision and personality but also their budget
Tell us about your ideal client.
Our Ideal client has signed a contract because they trust us with their vision. They allow us creative freedom to make changes that allow us to deliver the very best polished product. Perishable flowers are sometimes not as pretty as what we had hoped for and when we have the creative freedom to make adjustments that keep within the vision. not only is our client happy but our designers can be proud of their art as well.
Why do you think your business is successful?
We are successful because we care about every client. We have 1 chance to make it perfect and we take that very seriously. Our motto is ” Do every floral piece as if it was for your own family member”
What do you think are the biggest misconceptions that people have about your vendor category?
Misconception- Flowers are expensive. – Flowers in your wedding photos last forever, they make a huge impact. I have never had a client say they wished they had spent less on flowers but many who wish they could have ordered more.

Paradise Cove is named appropriately … when you step on to the property, all of the stress and business of the world seems to melt away in this relaxing tropical paradise! They are also the nicest and easiest people to work with!
Celebration Gardens is a gardener’s dream! The lush landscape is so pristine and colorful! It is this Florist’s favorite place to hold family get-togethers!
Bella Collina is where you have stepped into an Italian dream! Everywhere you turn is a gorgeous backdrop for dreamy photos!
