When people ask “what do you do” how do you answer?
I provide the venue for all kinds of events. Our waterfront provides a unique view of Lake Fairview and captures gorgeous sunsets.
When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
I wanted a challenge. I enjoy being creative with the table settings and decorations. I most of all love people.
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
Getting to know my Bride and Groom to ensure they have the most memorable day. I have met some very special people that remain in my life.
What motivates you to do this every day?
I enjoy getting up and touring the venue with everyone and helping to meet their needs.
What is the best compliment you have received from your clients?
I have been told that “we are a hidden gem!” and that I am amazing!
What fun fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
My brides are more surprised about what I can’t do because I do everything!
What’s your favorite wedding color combination?
Black, white, and vintage.
How do you spend your time away from work?
I spent my time on creative projects when I am not working, such as painting. I also read, golf and enjoy the outdoors.
How did they come up with the name of your venue?
The venue is a cottage and it’s on lake Fairview, so The Cottage on Lake Fairview! We turned the cottage into a bridal suite and groom’s room.

Weddings, parties, and celebrations.
What is important for clients to know about your company before they book you?
We aspire to make their every dream come true!
What types of events do you specialize in?
Weddings, celebrations of life, and corporate meetings.
What is the most unique service/product you offer?
The most unique service package we have is fireworks on the lake.
What is your best piece of advice for someone who just recently got engaged?
Choose your venue and everything else will fall into place.
What are the most common questions you get asked by engaged couples?
How many guests can your venue hold? Our venue can hold up to 200 guests.

They see too many.
