Festival Inspired Wedding at Ever After Farms Peach Barn

Josh & Aja celebrated their festival inspired wedding at Ever After Farms Peach Barn, a charming rustic wedding venue in Clermont, Florida.

Josh and Aja are the kind of couple who make life feel a little louder, brighter, and less serious, in the best way! They’re fun loving and happily nontraditional, choosing experiences over expectations every time. You’ll usually find them chasing music, sunsets, and good vibes at festivals, dancing without a plan and laughing like time doesn’t exist.

Together, they value freedom, creativity, and showing up exactly as they are. Their relationship isn’t about following rules, it’s about sharing moments, making memories, and enjoying the ride side by side.

This festival inspired wedding was a true reflection of their shared passions and the way they love to celebrate life together. Music and festival culture play a big role in their relationship, so festival bracelets were placed at every table as a playful nod to the many shows and festivals they’ve experienced side by side.

Tiny hands at the tables added an extra layer of humor and whimsy, perfectly capturing their fun loving, lighthearted personalities.

Their first dance broke tradition in the best way possible. Instead of a slow, formal moment, Josh and Aja jumped, laughed, and danced in the middle of their friends and family to “Shut Up and Dance,” turning it into a shared celebration rather than a performance. It was energetic, joyful, and unmistakably them!

The wedding day felt effortless from start to finish. It was a sunny, warm day that set the tone for everything. There were smiles everywhere you looked, and not a hint of stress from the couple.

Josh and Aja were completely in the moment, going with the flow and soaking in every second. The atmosphere was easygoing and full of love, with a genuine sense of happiness shared by everyone there. It really was a perfect day.

I’m not entirely sure what their exact reason was, but if I had to guess, I’d say they chose this venue because it has so many great photo spots. The inside is beautiful but still feels really intimate, which fit the overall vibe of the day perfectly.

Ever After Farms also provides all of the décor, which takes away a lot of stress on the planning side and lets the couple really focus on enjoying their wedding day.

The color palette featured soft peach, pink, blue, and purple tones. While I’m not exactly sure why they chose these colors, they worked beautifully together and complemented the overall feel of the day, adding a light, fun, and romantic touch to the festival inspired wedding.

Josh and Aja found me through my website! We photograph a significant number of weddings at Ever After Farms Peach and Blueberry Barn, and being located just a mile from the Peach Barn has helped our online presence for these venues grow.

I also had the opportunity to photograph their engagement session in our orange groves, which allowed us to connect and capture some fun, meaningful photos together ahead of their festival inspired wedding day.

One unique way we contributed to Josh and Aja’s day was through our personalized photo quiz. Before the festival inspired wedding, we send this quiz to every couple, which gives us a chance to really understand their vision and see what they are looking for in their photography.

It’s a fun and insightful way for us to get inside their heads, capture the moments that matter most to them, and ensure the photos truly reflect their personalities and their relationship. For Josh and Aja, it helped us anticipate all the playful, joyful moments that made their day so special.

We brought Josh and Aja’s vision to life through both photography and videography, capturing the energy, joy, and personality of their day. For the video, we incorporated songs from their wedding, making it a truly personalized keepsake that reflects their style and the moments that mattered most.

Through our photos and video, we created a story of their festival inspired wedding that they, and their loved ones, can relive and cherish for a lifetime.

My favorite personal detail was definitely their non-traditional first dance. Instead of a slow, formal moment, Josh and Aja jumped, laughed, and danced in the middle of their friends and family to “Shut Up and Dance.”

It was full of energy, joy, and totally true to who they are, a perfect reflection of their fun-loving, carefree personalities. I just loved that so much.

Our process with Josh and Aja started as soon as they filled out the inquiry form on our website. We reached out right away, sent over our packages and pricing, and walked them through each option to make sure they were getting exactly what they wanted.

After they booked with a 20% deposit, we scheduled their engagement session in our orange groves, then edited and delivered their album so they could enjoy those memories right away.

About a month before the festival inspired wedding, we sent them our photo quiz, which helped us understand their vision and what moments were most important to them. Once they completed it, we scheduled a final timeline call for about 30-45 minutes to review the day and ensure everything would flow smoothly.

By the wedding day, we knew exactly what to expect, and it made the day run effortlessly. We had such a blast with them, capturing all the fun, joyful, and meaningful moments that will become their forever memories.

One piece of advice we always love to share is to focus on what truly matters to you as a couple. It’s easy to get caught up in trends or what others expect, but your wedding should reflect your personalities and your relationship. Don’t stress the small stuff, you won’t even remember it.

Go with the flow, enjoy the moments, and let the day unfold naturally. Take time to really soak in your wedding day together, because those memories are what will last a lifetime. And remember, the more you plan with joy and intention, the more fun you’ll have on the day itself!!
