When people ask “what do you do” how do you answer?
I help couples create an unforgettable experience through food and culture!
When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
I have been in food and beverage since 1999! But in events sales since 2011. This industry has shaped me as a person and as a professional. I have met the most important people in my life through this industry!
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
I enjoy being a part of someone’s life and creating an experience that they will cherish forever. Most often times I am helping to plan an event that they will always remember.
What motivates you to do this every day?
The relationships that I have built along the way are invaluable.
What is the best compliment you have received from your clients?
That I created something that exceeded their dreams 🙂
Share the details of your most memorable event and why?
I was one of the first graduates of the Gay Wedding Institute and shortly after that I took part in planning and executing the 1st gay wedding to take place at the Congregation Ohev Shalom Conservative.
What fun fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
I am Gay Wedding Certified and a Certified Wedding planner from the Bridal Society.
What get you most excited about the wedding day?
The love that is in the air. I feel like guests reflect on their own marriage.
What’s your favorite wedding color combination?
Blush, black, and gold
How do you spend your time away from work?
At the beach with a beverage in hand. I love going on adventures and exploring Florida.
How did they come up with the name of your venue?
Fogo de Chao translates to Fire in the Ground. The old tradition of how to prepare meat.
What is important for clients to know about your company before they book you?
Vegetarians love Fogo too!

Don’t inundate yourself with information or stay in the analysis/paralysis stage. Make a decision and go for it!
What can couples do to combat nerves on the wedding day?
Have a cocktail! No seriously, take a moment of quiet, alone time to reflect on the person you’re marrying.
