We love a great destination proposal story, don’t you? When we saw this proposal, we knew that we wanted to feature Alexandra & Caleb’s Las Vegas marriage proposal story.
Share with us when and how you met each other.
It was 2019 when our love story first began. Just two single twenty-somethings who happened to swipe right on Tinder. He had just moved back to Orlando from California and little did he know he would meet the woman of his dreams (as he says it) in the first few days of moving back.
After a short break of being apart (like 5 mins), Caleb realized he didn’t want to spend another day without me again and gave me a beautiful promise ring, along with the promise of his love for the rest of our lives. I couldn’t resist his romantic gestures and the way he makes me feel. The rest is history! He kept his promise and proves his love to me every day. Our story is proof that love will always find a way!
What are your favorite things to do together as a couple?
We love to go on walks with our two huskies, Luna and Stella. We enjoy cooking and trying new foods together, going to the beach, jet skiing on the lake, and dancing together!
How long were you together before getting engaged?
1 year and 6 months.
Did anyone help with the Las Vegas marriage proposal?
Caleb asked for my parent’s permission prior to proposing. Caleb’s sister, Deanna, helped him pick out the ring.
Share your marriage proposal story…
On December 5, 2020, Caleb surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas for my birthday. Little did I know, an even bigger surprise would take place while vacationing. After enjoying a romantic dinner at the Stratosphere, a 360-degree revolving dining room standing 1,149-feet-tall, we took pictures at the very top.
Mid-picture, Caleb got down one knee and popped the question holding a stunning ring, and I shouted “Yes!” It was the happiest moment of both of our lives!
What was the best moment of the proposal?
The best moment of the proposal for us was Caleb taking off my gloves and my promise ring and replacing it with the most beautiful engagement ring I have ever seen in my life! All while looking into each other’s eyes under the stars and the city of Las Vegas.
Who did you tell that you were engaged first?
We called our parents over FaceTime right away and told our siblings. We then uploaded it to Facebook and Instagram to share with the world.
Tell us about the ring!
Caleb designed the ring himself! His family member is a master jeweler and Caleb picked out a beautiful, massive pear-shaped diamond that has hints of yellow gold inside of it. The pear-shaped diamond sits between two diamonds on each side making it a trinity ring, representing the past, the present, and the future.
All of the excitement from our family and friends! We were showered with gifts and so much love.
Making dates out of wedding planning! We’ve had fun in this process so far. I also love showing off my ring and telling our story.
What are you most excited about wedding planning?
Making fun dates out of it! We loved touring venues together and making a day out of it. We know the engagement is going to fly by, so we are soaking in each minute of it together.
If you’ve already decided, when are you getting married and what is your venue?
3/12/2022 at the Citrus Club downtown Orlando!
Why did you choose that venue?
It was both of our dream venues. We absolutely love the city life and skyline views! We fell in love with Citrus Club and just knew it was where we would get married.

We sat down after we picked our venue and set aside a budget for each vendor and for everything we would need. We were gifted a wedding planning book from my sister (my Maid of Honor). The book helped us break down each item and expected cost. We then discussed the costs with our parents and we are so beyond thankful to have help from both sets of parents.
