When people ask “what do you do?” how do you answer?
Destiny Event Venue offers our clients an intimate space for all types of events with a ballroom feel.
What did you do before you did this?
Event planning and design and the banking industry.
When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
We started the company back in 2011, after going through a business class where we were asked to coordinate and design a fellow church member’s wedding. This was the start of Destiny Divine Kreations Event Planning and Design, Inc. This led us to open our first event venue in October 2018.
How long would you say you’ve been doing what you do today?
We’ve been working in this industry since 2011.
How did your work evolve to get you to where you are today?
After coordinating many weddings at several event venues, our desire was to open our own business.
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
To see our clients’ dreams become their reality and to go above and beyond with serving their needs.
Tell us about your most memorable event so far and why it was.
This would be our Christmas Day wedding. The bride and groom only saw the venue from a picture and what they were told by their event coordinator. It was such a pleasure serving the couple and their guest on their wedding day.
What’s the best part of your job?
Being able to serve our clients on their special day and meeting their needs and every detail. We love building relationships by getting to know each client.
What motivates you to do this every day?
We love making people smile and helping them enjoy their events so I would say this is our purpose.
What fun fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
I love watching all of the cooking shows but don’t like to cook anymore.
What is the best compliment you’ve received from your clients?
Our client telling us that she loved us and she will be referring to every person she knows to our venue.
How did you decide on the name of your company?
We pondered several names but knew this had to line up with our purpose, so we prayed and came up with Destiny. This is defined as your future or the pre-ordained path of your life. Our tag line is “Where Your Destiny Awaits You.”
What is important for clients to know about your company before they book you?
We are a business that cares about the needs of the bride and groom because this is one of the most important days of their life.
What is the most unique service/product you offer?
Our intimate space with a ballroom feel and all-inclusive, affordable decor packages.

Intimate weddings and receptions, bridal showers, wedding rehearsals, dinner parties, bridal brunches, baby showers, birthday parties, corporate events, quinceañeras, stage photo shoots, and more.
