We thought it would be a great idea to speak with some of our vendors and find out their favorite and unique wedding color combinations. The response was amazing, and the colors are stunning. Take a look.
Amanda Rivera Photographer at Amore Events venueMaryland Marin, from Amore Events Venue shared that she loves “a soft blush color”. When she was asked why, she shared “It’s soft and elegant at the same time. Blush and white is a perfect color for a bride looking for something pretty and elegant. At the same time, you can also add burgundy, navy or black Tuxedos to this color. It’s very accommodating and easy to match with other colors. Soft, but it makes a statement. This color combination is good all year round, that’s why I love it.”
CORE Events, Selina Mullinax shared her favorite is “green and blush with a hint of gold. This color combination is versatile enough to work for both daytime and evening events and helps bring the colors of the outdoors (particularly in Spring) indoors. Additionally, the touches of champagne and gold add a luxurious touch to the refreshing green colors. These colors pair perfectly for your invitation, place setting, floral and furnishings.”
I love fuchsia, coral, gold, teal, and violet. I love the dramatic and bold statement you can make with these colors in dresses, florals, and tableware. Bridesmaids could each wear one of the colors for summer, spring and fall.
Some thoughts for summer, spring and fall, from Nadine Nasby from Nadine Nasby Photography
Socialite Events, Stephanie Green told us “We love taking a traditional color palette and adding in a pop of the unexpected! In this wedding, we took the popular and timeless Blush and Ivory tones and added pops of rich Hunter Green. The color combination is classic and timeless and it adds a bit more personality than your standard blush and ivory wedding. It’s upscale, sophisticated and versatile! This color combination can be tied in through natural elements such as florals and greenery. In this wedding, we added the pops of blush in a floral linen and the hunter green in the napkins. This color combination is ideal for any season since it’s a combination of contrasting light and dark colors.”
Jennifer Cornell, from The Farm, A Place to Gather “Loves the color combination of blush and blue, because it works for all seasons…..great in the winter as well as spring and summer. Pink flowers with blue accent pieces such as candles, glassware and place settings look great all tied in together.”
For Christine Kirby, from Christine Kirby Studios, she particularly enjoys “antique gold, black, and white. These three paired together are a very classy and timeless combination and can work with anything from a Gatsby Glitzy Roaring 20’s theme to a New Year’s Eve celebration. The right accessories will be the way to balance the gold with the black and white, from gold calligraphy to vintage cufflinks and earrings; gold rimmed china to gold details on the cake.”
As you can see, the unique wedding color combinations can be as unique as the bride and groom! Share with us some of the unique ideas you incorporated at your wedding.
