It’s Spotlight day, where we introduce you to incredible Orlando wedding vendors and share the stories behind these companies who help Wedding Venue Map couples have their best wedding day.
Hiring the right wedding vendors is so important on your wedding day. The floral designer’s creations are the backdrop of every moment, every picture, and every memory.
It gives us great pleasure to introduce this week’s vendor spotlight, Hailey Larsen of Greenery Productions.
When people ask “what do you do?” how do you answer?
Play with flowers all day! 🙂
Just kidding…I tell people I help couples design their wedding day through floral design.
What did you do before you did this?
I have worked in many facets of the event industry. I first got my start at Rosen doing multiple internships throughout my college years in banquets, music festivals, and floral design. After college, I began working for a destination management company planning corporate events. I truly believe all of these professional experiences have brought me to where I am meant to be in the event industry…and that is back in floral design.
When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
I got my start in the wedding industry when I was in college. I had interviewed for a position as a decor intern and thought to myself, “Hey, that sounds fun.” I had no idea that it would kickstart me into my dream job. I interned at this floral and decor company for about two years while I was in college doing everything from hands-on floral designing, wedding sets, strikes, and everything in between.
How did your work evolve to get you to where you are today?
I think that having the diverse experience as I did throughout my working years has made me a well-rounded employee and evolved me into the person I am today. I feel as though I can take something from each of my past positions (no matter how different they were from each other) and apply it to some aspect of my current position.
There is always something valuable in any job and the people you work with along the way that you can take with you to any aspect of your life and job.
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
My WHY is just the happiness that comes with this job. Making other people happy through floral design, and getting to do something creative as my job is just a blessing in itself.
Tell us about your most memorable event so far and why it was.
So far in my one year of working at Greenery Productions, I would say the most memorable event for me thus far was a wedding we did back in November 2018 at the Waldorf. Not only did I feel a connection with the client (who was beyond amazing to work with!) but it’s always the best when your own personal style aligns with theirs. I feel like that’s when some true magic happens.
So much went into this wedding and it really blows my mind to this day when months and months of planning finally comes into fruition and I can see my clients’ reactions. Those are the tearjerker moments for sure.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part about my job is really interacting with clients and catching them at such a happy time of their life; you really feed off of that energy. I love my job and I love flowers, so being able to educate people and walk them through the steps of designing their wedding is so much fun and so satisfying when you get to see the results come to life.
What motivates you to do this every day?
Honestly, it is my deep passion for floral design as well as my deep passion for making other people happy through this form of art. It truly is one of the happiest jobs, in my humble opinion. 🙂
What fun fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
I don’t have a favorite flower!
What is the best compliment you’ve received from your clients?
“I trust you.”
Why do couples hire you?
I think couples hire us because of the experience. From the moment you walk into our studio, it is like a life-size wedding library. There are so many containers and items to play with; it really makes people feel comfortable with what they are going to receive.
The aesthetic of our office and the overall experience they receive when they step in is something to be said for. Sometimes, it’s as simple as leaving them with a small bud vase with flowers to take home with them after their appointment as a keepsake and preview.

What is your best piece of advice for brides or grooms?
My best piece of advice to all brides and grooms is to have fun with this process! I know it can be stressful, but try to keep things into perspective. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event and you should embrace the process of design and trust your vendors that they have your best interest and vision in mind. Building that connection with your vendors is key in helping to feel less of stress when going through this process.
What current trends have you seen at weddings that personally like the most?
Lots of candlelight (the more the better), moody pops of color mixed in with greenery, and unique shapes.
What do you think are the biggest misconceptions that people have about your vendor category?
That flowers are not worth the money because they are a fresh product. THEY ARE SO WORTH THE MONEY! Think of how happy they make you on the day of, and the pictures you will have that will have for the rest of your life! Flowers are SO worth it!
What some of their previous couples had to say…
“Hailey from Greenery Productions exceeded our expectations. Floral was a huge element in our wedding and Hailey took the time to listen to our needs and made any adjustments necessary to fit the style and budget we wanted. She was very attentive, transparent and meticulous with all details. It was also a huge convenience that she did our linens, chargers, and other wedding rentals as well. From the candlelit tables, gold accent decor, floral chandeliers, wedding bouquets, beautiful arch, and floral hedge wall/signage, everything was pure perfection. I was floored at how our already scenic venue was transformed into something that much more intimate, beautiful, and uniquely ours. So many guests who had been to other weddings at the same venue came up to us stating it was the most beautiful reception they had ever been to. I can’t imagine what our wedding would have been like without Hailey. Thanks so much, Hailey!”
“We reviewed many florists before Hailey and Greenery Productions; everyone came up with a different look based on our discussed vision plus prices were across the board. Then I spoke to Hailey…she captured exactly what I wanted while acknowledging our budget – this was huge. Her ideas to highlight the varying heights, texture, and colors we wanted (beyond the norm of roses and hydrangeas) were awesome. They offer more than just glass cylinders and candelabras. They’re creative and plan for finishing touches like completing the base of our arch with perfect lush potted greenery. The floral industry operates at a slower pace than I’m used to professionally, Hailey communicated in my every day desired manner. She sent photos back and forth during calls to efficiently ensure each detail was what we pictured. I’m grateful for the prep work and even more impressed with the end product. Our August wedding was lively and distinctive…exactly as desired. We appreciate the follow-up and follow through start-to-finish. Thank you again to Greenery Productions’ Design Team!”
“Working with Hailey through Greenery Productions was a wonderful experience. We were able to provide our most specific thoughts and details including meetups and even drawings that came to life to our exact image on our wedding day. We were very impressed with our flower arrangements and felt this made the decor at our wedding be a beautiful focal point. Would highly recommend this company to others and if needed use them for future events!”
