What did you do before you did this?
I went to college at Florida State University and graduated with a Sociology degree and a minor in Mathematics.
When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
After getting started in the makeup industry and working on the production side, I gradually moved over to the wedding industry and enjoy it so much! DNA Cosmetics was born in February 2014.
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
Seeing our client’s faces light up after getting dolled up is priceless.
Tell us about your most memorable event so far and why it was.
The most memorable would probably be Selina’s 50th birthday, because all the ladies looked fabulous after being dolled up by the DNA Dolls and we were invited to this amazing event. However, let’s not forget I fell down the stairs with my heavy makeup kit! Luckily, only a few people witnessed it.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of our job is the flexibility and being able to do what we love!
What motivates you to do this every day?
God and his plan to lead me to impact others.
What fun fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
I am a professional makeup artist who loves applying makeup on others, but rarely wear makeup myself.
What is the best compliment you’ve received from your clients?
I think the best compliment I have received is that I am humble, because that is what I strive to be: humble and kind to everyone.
How did you decide on the name of your company?
It was simple: Defining Natural Attributes is what we aim to do, hence the DNA.
What is important for clients to know about your company before they book you?
We aim to please our clients. We want our clients to show up, relax, and enjoy their time in our chair and not stress about anything beauty-related.
What is the most unique service/product you offer?
Quality, old-fashioned customer service, and of course, all things hair & makeup.
What types of events do you specialize in?
Weddings and fitness competitions.
What makes your business stand out from others in your category?
We offer the best customer service, ensuring that our clients are always more than satisfied, not to mention the fact that we have our own professional product line that we use and are available for our clients to purchase.

Our favorite type of engaged couple would have to be happy and positive couples! 🙂 We love smiles!

Hub925– It is a fun and trendy venue local to Orlando and the owners are friendly and pleasant to work with.
Hastings Ranch – It is a beautiful venue, great for outdoor/indoor location. And the owner is an amazing lady, who is also pleasant to work with.
Hangar Thirty 08 – It is a great open space for larger parties and the owner is a sweet and humble lady with lots of creative ideas.
