It’s been a CRAZY year for weddings and with the 2022 wedding boom on the horizon, we took an afternoon to celebrate with our own fun annual Wedding Venue Map Blockbuster Holiday Party. This in-person member mixer for our trusted venues and vendors was a blast!

With Contempo Photos + Videos capturing all the moments of goodwill and cheer throughout the day, they were also getting photos of the quizzical faces as everyone tried to figure out the movie-themed centerpieces.
It all started with thinking about so many of our favorite holiday movies that we see playing throughout the season, so we chose to celebrate this time of year with movies like Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, A Wonderful Life, and Elf to name just a few holiday blockbusters.
From the moment our trusted venues and vendors walked into the large ballroom of the Holy Trinity Reception Center they knew the event was going to be fun and filled with holiday movie magic, just from walking down the red carpet from Orlando Wedding and Carpet Rentals.
A special jazz trio from Music Remembrance played holiday classics as guests came in. We wanted our event music to be memorable and Music Remembrance certainly personalized our occasion to make it truly special.
No holiday party would be complete without games and activities, including a snowflake-making station, figuring out how many bells were in the jar, and a SPIN-TO-WIN surprise! What’s a special holiday without a surprise gift?
Then there were the guess-the-movie centerpieces coordinated with the help of Seas Your Day Events, all in their red holiday capes.
With many in their most festive attire or taking holiday dress clues from their favorite movies, there was plenty of laughter and joy!
With a photo booth from RJM Entertainment for everyone to have a reminder of getting together to network, and having fun with friends old and new.
And then more moments of fun with guests hamming it up for flipbooks by The Flipbook People.
Delicious light bites were provided by Two Chicks and a Pot. Everything from Grinch fruit skewers, beef sliders, crudites, and savory mince meat cups.
Following with a winter theme, there were decadent sweet treats by Butter Bliss Bakeshop, everything from yummy Hot Cocoa Cookies, Mini Vanilla Hazelnut Cupcakes, Smores Cookies, Cheesecake Parfaits, White Chocolate Rice Crispies, Mini Peppermint Cupcakes, and White Chocolate-Covered Pretzels.
Can any holiday party be complete without a beverage? Bars on Demand had everything from beer, wine, and themed holiday signature drinks, Ovaltine Martinis, and Red Ryder Mocktails served with just a hint of Ralphie’s bunny pajamas.
Later in the event, RJM Entertainment took over the sounds that kept the afternoon fun and festive.
The afternoon ended with a special message along the lines of the holiday movie ‘Love Actually’, when Shannon Tarrant, Co-Founder of the WeddingVenueMap.com shared Wedding Venue Map’s sincere thanks for a wonderful 2021 and on to an amazing 2022! Check out the video below.
