When it was time to release the new Spring 2021 Wedding Venue Map, we know that we wanted to celebrate at Canvas Event Venue in Orlando, Florida was the perfect venue for our Sip, See, & Celebrate event!
Twice a year, this event is hosted to launch the newest edition of the print map. The entire Central Florida wedding industry is invited including all the categories of vendors like djs, florists, planners, cake bakers, caterers, photographers and so many more.
There is no better place to celebrate than at Canvas Event Venue. It was the perfect location for so many reasons! With safety our top priority, this venue provided ample space to host a large event. Canvas Event Venue can host up to 500 people and includes a multi-level event space. It has a modern industrial feel with sealed concrete floors, white walls, bright big windows, and black ceilings. It really is a blank canvas that can be designed for any theme!
Upon entering the event, guests experienced touchless check-in. From there they headed into the main event space to make some new connections and see all the amazing features Canvas has to offer their couples.
The built-in LED lighting was designed to match our Wedding Venue Map brand with green lighting all around. A great feature of this venue giving the host of any event, even weddings, the opportunity to customize the lighting in this area with their own color choice.
This station was for Wedding Venue Map pickup. Each guest pre-ordered how many maps they wanted to take so we could pre-organize to grab on their way out to prevent any extra touching!
The wedding pros love looking through the new map to see which venues have been added as well as the new members to the Wedding Venue Map family.
The Wedding Venue Map not only serves as a helpful resource to all of those engaged couples looking for the venue of their dreams but it also helps bring our wedding pros and community together through connections as members of the family… as you can see in the background with a couple of vendors taking a selfie together!
Couples are able to use the map in so many ways for venue hunting – there are over 400 wedding locations on the print map, each venue is color-coded by indoor, outdoor, or both, and all of the names are listed for an easy google search to learn more online. They also can find images and advertisements from our Wedding Venue Map trusted wedding pros as well as a comprehensive Central Florida bridal salons list on the map.
The venue’s wide-open space allowed our attendees to spread out to feel more comfortable. With plenty of beautiful natural light coming in the front windows, it was the perfect setting to grab a map and meet someone new.
New Map Cover
Launching our brand new Spring 2021 cover of the printed Wedding Venue Map was a big focus of the event but we couldn’t have released the new cover without the help of our cover contest winner, Jennifer Nicole Photography.
Meet Jenn and Mike, our Spring 2021 cover contest winners. This husband and wife team specializes in photography and video to capture the bright, bold, and fun moments of your wedding day and more! When we saw their submission of this gorgeous couple taken at a local wedding venue, Celebration Gardens, we knew it was the one we wanted to feature to all of our local engaged couples and wedding pros.
Getting to show off the new map is our favorite time of the year. Sip, See, & Celebrate let us show it off to the wedding industry but we also create this same setup in our booth at local wedding shows. At local shows, we get to help engaged couples find their perfect venue and vendors to have the wedding of their dreams.
Dreamscape Photography
The husband and wife team Michael and Nicole of Dreamscape Photography helped us capture the unique spaces of the venue, our special setups for the event, and all of the moments created with our local wedding pros.
Sip, See, & Celebrate gave us the chance to showcase our new print map but it also was the perfect setting for vendors to make connections with each other while sharing some mimosas and cupcakes.
We are blessed to be part of an industry that believes in great connections with each other both in long-standing relationships as well as making new connections.
Bringing our vendors together with this event to share moments is our favorite part of putting together Wedding Venue Map events. Check out these two below in their matching outfits! 😉
We got the opportunity to thank all of our incredible sponsors of the event and shared exactly what we were there to celebrate and share with everyone. Of course, helping to highlight how they could celebrate at Canvas Event Venue with their clients.
Launching our new Wedding Venue Map helped bring all sorts of vendors together to meet, some for the first time, or some that have already met but love getting the chance to reconnect.
Canvas Event Venue
Our sponsor venue, Canvas Event Venue, created a great space for our attendees to network while also getting the chance to tour the new space and see all the features it has to offer both couples for their weddings or for other clients and their events.
The upper level of the venue can serve as the cocktail hour area that gives the perfect view overlooking the main reception space but still allowing it to feel like a separate space from the other events of the wedding day.
This upper level also provides a ready room area with a full bathroom, four makeup stations, and a lounge area all complete with beautiful natural lighting and tastefully styled furniture.
The second ready room space can also be used as a wedding VIP area. This space has a unique wooden coffee table complete with two forest green velvet armchairs.
You can celebrate at Canvas Event Venue in the main event space with has features like built-in lighting and a completely neutral palette to bring your wedding vision to life.
Drapery between the two different sections of the main level helps the flow of the space feel more broken up and can also allow for reception reveals after the ceremony or cocktail hour.
Canvas gives couples, corporations, and anyone looks for an event space the chance to have a blank canvas, just like the name suggests, to create and style their event to their own vision and bring their space to life.
Dj Danny Garcia & Photobooth
Our event couldn’t have been complete without showcasing our DJ and photobooth sponsor, DJ Danny Garcia, he gave us a fun way for our guests to capture moments with fellow vendors or other members of their team!
The photo booth took up such little space with such ease of use for the guests to take pictures with vendors or even holding our newly printed maps to post pictures for our giveaway!
The green hedge wall, provided by Canvas, was the perfect backdrop to match the Wedding Venue Map branding and add some texture for all of the photobooth pictures.
KMD Photo & Film
Todd of KMD Photo & Film, was there to capture all the moments, big and small, with videography during the entire Sip, See, and Celebrate event. Letting us look back at our event for years to come and celebrate every step of the way!
Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique
We couldn’t have a celebration of our new map released without the addition of a sweet treat for the guests to eat there or take with them for the road. A beautiful show cake was on display to feature the decorating abilities of Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique and different flavors of cupcakes for us to enjoy her baking skills!
The display made for the perfect centerpiece of the venue space with a projected video playing on the wall behind it and fun uplighting.
The flavors Danielle provided us for all of our guests were definitely a hit and made for the perfect individually packaged treats, great for a treat to take with you. *The apple caramel was Shannon’s favorite!
Traditions Mobile Bar & ABC Fine Wine & Spirits
We couldn’t have sip without having some celebratory drinks. We were excited to provide a mimosa bar thanks to ABC Fine Wine & Spirits Concierge Services for providing the champagne and Traditions Mobile Bartending for providing their bartending services.
Even though it wasn’t Sunday brunch, our mimosa bar was such a fun inclusion to have after a Tuesday workday for our vendors to enjoy and have fun customizing their mimosa with different juices and fruit!
Connie Duglin Linen
Last but not least, our friends with Connie Duglin Linen provided us black spandex linen to create a clean look on our tables that blended in with all of the other decor and lighting used during the event.
The team at Wedding Venue Map can’t wait to see all of our local wedding pros again at the next event, especially our next upcoming Sip, See, and Celebrate when our Fall 2021 print map is released with a brand new cover image!
Thank you to all of our incredible sponsors!
