How did you bring the couple’s vision of a festive Christmas Disney wedding to life with the services that you provided?
To bring Katie and Jordan’s vision to life, we meticulously integrated their unique elements and preferences into our services. From capturing the enchanting ambiance of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort adorned with festive Christmas decorations to documenting their intimate ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion, we ensured every detail reflected their fairy tale theme.
Our photography highlighted the warmth and joy of the day, including the personalized touch of blending bourbons during the ceremony and Jordan’s heartfelt serenade during their first dance.
We captured the fun and lively atmosphere of the reception with DJ Michael Wycoff and the magic of their dessert party at Epcot, complete with the stunning fireworks display.
By focusing on these special moments and incorporating their personal touches, we were able to create a visual story that perfectly matched Katie and Jordan’s dream wedding.
What was your favorite personal or design detail that was unique to the couple included in this wedding?
One of my favorite personal details from Katie and Jordan’s wedding was their unique bourbon-blending ceremony. It was a wonderful nod to Whisky Row and added a special, personal touch to their vows.
What is a bourbon blending ceremony? A wedding bourbon blending ceremony involves the couple selecting and blending various bourbons to create a unique, personalized blend that symbolizes their union. Guests can participate by tasting and contributing to the blend, which is then bottled and often used for a toast or given as a keepsake. This ritual highlights the blending of two lives into one, much like the harmonious combination of different bourbons.
It not only showcased their individual tastes but also brought a distinctive element to their ceremony that truly reflected their personalities. This custom detail perfectly blended with the magical setting and made their romantic Disney wedding even more memorable.

We began with an initial consultation to understand their vision and preferences, including their desire for a festive Disney-themed celebration with a festive Christmas touch. From there, we crafted a tailored photography plan that would capture both the magical atmosphere of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and the personal elements they wanted to incorporate.
As the wedding day approached, we coordinated closely with them to finalize the timeline, ensuring we were positioned to capture all key moments—from the bourbon-blending ceremony to Jordan’s serenade during their first dance. On the day itself, our team was dedicated to documenting every detail with care and precision, capturing the lively reception and the stunning dessert party at Epcot.
Post-event, we meticulously curated and edited their photos to reflect the vibrant, magical essence of their day, providing them with a beautiful collection of memories that perfectly captured their unique celebration. Throughout the entire process, our goal was to ensure their vision was brought to life seamlessly and beautifully.
Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
One piece of advice I’d offer couples planning their wedding is to focus on what truly matters to you both and let go of the pressure to meet every expectation. Prioritize the elements that are most meaningful to you, whether that’s a specific venue, personal touches, or simply enjoying the day with loved ones.
Communicate openly with each other and your vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page. A clear vision and good communication can alleviate a lot of stress. And remember, despite the planning and details, the day is about celebrating your love and commitment. Embrace the moment, savor the experience, and don’t forget to have fun!
