Have you been searching the internet and every wedding planning magazine you can get your hands on for the perfect glamorous gold wedding inspiration? If you’re looking to be inspired, this shoot is nothing less than perfect for that role. Hear from Elise at Elise van der Lee Photography who put together this Glamorous Gold Wedding Inspiration shoot showcasing over 15 different vendors!
What was the theme for the shoot?
The theme of this wedding-inspired styled shoot was Glamorous Gold. Creating a super elegant and sophisticated wedding with an abundance of white flowers and gold accents was the goal. We wanted to incorporate a couple of different things during this styled shoot like a swing for bridal portraits.
Reasons for choosing the venue:
The University Club of Winter Park was just the perfect place in the Winter Park area. This venue has a Mediterranean-style building on Historic Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL.
This beautiful and unique venue is surrounded by moss-laden oaks and has a gorgeous gazebo that we turned into our ceremony site. The golf course across from the venue was the perfect backdrop for sunset pictures.
Tell us the story and inspiration behind the shoot.
We created a wedding day from beginning till end. Arriving at your wedding in a gorgeous white Rolls-Royce by VIP Wedding Transportation is a dream for many couples. The gorgeous Rolls-Royce was put at the entrance of the wedding venue for beautiful portrait pictures.
Like I said before we turned the gazebo into our ceremony. We decorated the gazebo with fabric, flowers, and glass orbs for a luxurious and glamorous look. Brides stunned in wedding gowns provided by Definition Bridal and the Grooms wore fashions by Leonard Fifth Avenue.
The gazebo is under all of the beautiful oaks and gives enough shade for the Bride and Groom and their guests. Of course, we added chairs by A Chair Affair for the guests to sit on.
After the ceremony, it’s time for cocktail hour. We had the Bubble Buggi at the courtyard with the fountain for an amazing cocktail or a glass of champagne.
This gorgeous spot was just perfect for cocktail hour and with the stunning hors d’oeuvres from Foodie Catering cocktail hour can’t be any better.
For an extra opportunity of portraits, we incorporated a swing which was decorated with the same beautiful white flowers with gold accents, just like at the gazebo. We placed the swing in front of the University Club of Winter Park for a beautiful backdrop.
The reception and sweetheart table was set up in the same elegant glamorous gold style. White table linen with gold napkins and white plates, ringed by stunning gold chairs provided by A Chair Affair. The wine glasses and water goblets had a gold rim as a finishing touch. For dessert, we asked Sweet Ms. V’s to put her touch on a classic 4 tier cake with gold accents and white flowers.
At the center of the reception table, we had a high flower arrangement and on the sweetheart table, we had another flower arrangement. All the florals were provided by The Flower Studio. With the beautiful menu cards as finishing touches on the plates.
Of course, we cannot replicate a wedding without details. We had a stunning invitation suite where the invitation had gold on the edges for a luxury look. Beautiful envelopes that had the guests’ names printed on them and an rsvp card. The stationer also designed special vow books for this occasion. The beautiful styling mats we had, were the base to make the flat lay’s. To accompany the invitation suite we had special jewelry, ring boxes, ribbon, ring dishes, etc.

Nielliza Soriano
Every bride deserves to look glamorous on their biggest day and look their best and the hairstyles I provided set the tone to accentuate the dress.
For Boutquet’s hair, I decided to keep her updo simple yet classy to keep the focus on the veil and the dress since she is wearing a strapless wedding dress with the veil. I left a couple of strands in the front to complete the look while the rest has been pulled back and pin curled.
Another way to keep the focus on the dress is to also pull the hair back creating volume at the crown like what I did with Cristina’s hair. With a little teasing of the hair-pulling back, pin curled, with a side braid at the front to complement the exposure of her neckline & shoulders.
For Quenzy’s hair, I wanted to keep it simple with a half up half down updo. The long strands in front helped the prominence of the “V” cut of her dress. I also added a couple of white flowers by pinning them on her half-up section of the updo to add a bit of fun contrast.
I always ask the bride what theme they are going for, the color schemes, what dress she’s wearing and what the bridesmaids’ dress looks like to inspire me and get a visual in my head of what would be the best look for their big day.
For pricing, brides or bridesmaids are $85 and up (includes travel fee within 20 miles), a bride is $130 for Hollywood waves and up (includes travel fee within 20 miles) and an intricate updo is $100 & up.
Allure Wedding Jewelry
We provided various bridal jewelry designs including earrings, necklace pendants, and bracelets. The inspiration was an overall classic bride look in gold. For a real wedding, this would cost $60-$125.
The Bubble Buggi
We provided our charming 2 tap bike, Giuseppi, white fringe umbrella, a signature cocktail, and drinkware accessories.
The name of the shoot says it all, so we wanted to make sure to have gold accents and added glamorous drinkware details, like the custom drink tags. But also mix in a little fun with the Oreo White Russian Poptail as the signature drink!
It starts at $750 but would depend on the size of the guest list as well as the number of service hours.
