Are you searching for the perfect ethereal wedding inspiration? This styled shoot will give you all of the timeless inspiration you need and helpful information from the vendors who helped make it come to life!
“I am a long-time fan of fantasy and whimsy. I have been photographing weddings for eight years and am also currently planning my own. I really wanted to execute a styled wedding in a way that fulfilled my own childhood dreams.
I wanted this moment to feel as if you were in an enchanted forest, living free and in love. We wanted to bring out colors that represented the forests, florals, and nature so we focused on greenery, and added touches of blush. For the table settings, we utilized some gold accents in the chargers and the silverware to add an extra sense of elegance. My goal was to make the entire shoot feel warm, familiar and enticing.” – Shaina of SMO Photography
Photography & Planning: SMO Photography
“I provided the idea, inspiration, and photography for the day!
I have always been inspired by fairytales, especially the idea of an enchanted forest. So when we put this together I knew that I wanted the photos to feel warm, just as I imagined an inviting magical forest would be. I wanted the photos to have that sense of etherealness, with the modern touch of today’s weddings.
I offer a few packages ranging from $2000-$3000 depending on the amount of coverage needed.” – Shaina
Venue: Bridle Oaks Barn
“I chose Bridle Oaks because their location brings modern rustic style to a very ethereal forest setting. You truly feel transported when you are on their property. With a multitude of settings from their amazing barn, to the thicket of trees and plants, and their beautiful ceremony structure, Bridle Oaks is a versatile and exquisite location.” – Shaina
“I love styled shoots! They are so much fun. I like seeing what different vendors do with space.
I provide my barn for the shoot! The grounds, property, seating, benches, lighting, etc. My venue ranges between $2,800-4,700.” – Bridle Oaks Barn
Videography: Jon Lee
“I wanted to offer a cinematic video and I loved the idea of the shoot. I used a steady camera as well as different cameras on tripods for different angles of videography.
The inspiration for the shoot was a whimsical ethereal look straight out of a fairytale.
Packages would start from $2000 and range up to $4500 depending on the package.” – Jon of Jon Lee
Coordinator: Victoria Rose Events
“To offer a different style and look to one of my favorite barns. The photographer gave me her vision and I was excited to run with it! I also love how versatile Bridle Oaks could be and you really could incorporate any vision. The ethereal fairy theme though- I was incredibly excited! I LOVE colors, flowy fabrics and it was going to be such a fun vendor group. And it was!
I helped pick the vendors, set the timeline, provided food and beverages, set up all rentals including linens, chargers, dinnerware, chairs, tables, candlesticks, etc. Guided vendors where set up was taking place and re-purposed florals and decor for each photo-op. Also gave ideas for photos and movement and timed out the day allowing for all possible photos to be taken.
The photographer created a Pinterest board. I pinpointed key items like gold leafy chargers, flowy fabrics (2 toned) for runners and napkins, falling flowers, and a hanging cake. Flowy, yet tight curls in the model were a must. Pastels, yet earthy feels were a must.
My month of coordination starts at $1300 with additional al carte services and packages are available to fit any couple’s needs.” – Victoria of Victoria Rose Events
Bridal Salon: Arden Bridal
“It was a great creative concept with a group of, mostly, new to me vendors that I wanted to connect with.
Arden Bridal & Boutique provided the lovely Bridal Gown. It was a mixture of the shoot inspiration and the model feeling and looking her best in it. She tried on several but this gown was definitely the winner!
Float down the aisle in this A-line wedding dress that is both classic and romantic. Layers of misty tulle and allover Chantilly lace combine with hand-beaded floral lace appliques to create a dreamy bridal look with subtle sparkle and shine. Delicate ruching on the semi-sheer V-neck bodice softly shapes the natural waist. Crystal embellishment trims the sheer tulle side panels and adorns the spaghetti straps, leading to a low V-back finished with fabric-covered buttons and a chapel length train for $1679” – Arden Bridal
Tux: Generation Tux
“Victoria has been a part of our partner program since October 2020. As a partner of ours, she requested the need for a suit rental for her styled shoot and we were able to accommodate her request.
We provided a Slate Blue Suit with a matching vest, a White Twill Spread Collar Shirt and brown shoes, and a matching belt. We allow our partners to choose their own style to fit their vision so this look was created by Victoria.
Our rentals are made of the highest quality merino wool available and hand dyed to our custom specifications. Then our suits are crafted especially for our own brand. You’ll not find another just like this one out there. This look would cost just $199 to rent. All of our items (aside from the jacket and pant set) may be added or removed a-la-carte style to be able to fit any vision or budget.” – Generation Tux
Bowtie & Robe: Knotty Tie
“We love to collaborate with wedding creatives to show off our custom design and color matching capabilities. During this shoot we were so excited to incorporate our newest wedding product, custom getting ready robes!
We provided a custom-colored patterned bow tie made of recycled fibers as well as the custom-colored getting-ready robe.
We always try to compliment the look and feel of the mood board planners and wedding pros send us for their styled shoots. We can use specific florals, pull out certain design motifs, etc. If the color is super important to get exact, we even offer color matching services to get the color of our products perfect for the event!
Our pricing goes down the more you buy. A single custom bow tie is $40 and bulk discounts are automatically applied to your cart. Custom getting ready robes are $65.” – Knotty Tie
Harpist: Elizabeth Louise
“I wanted to play the harp in this gorgeous setting and feel the energy of the venue as well as collaborate with fellow local vendors.
I provided harp music and an aesthetic of harp playing. I prepared a few songs to be played while the happy couple was walking down the aisle. This aural contribution gave an additional touch of magic to the feelings of love and happiness on a wedding day.
The rustic beauty that is Bridle Oaks Barn! I chose my dark wood Lyon & Healy style 100 Harp to complement the natural beauty of the surroundings. Enveloped in luscious greens and browns from nature, and I chose a complementing dark blue gown to stand out just enough without taking away from the natural beauty of the Bridle Oaks Barn.
Packages range from $450 up, depending on many factors.” – Elizabeth of Harpist Elizabeth Louise
Florist: Flowers by Lesley
“Loved the venue and wanted to play again after a long year…ethereal, I’m in.
Bridal bouquet including my favorite flower, protea, love them. It was a wider, more oversized bouquet and even with the large protea was light and spring-like with the colors used. Arrangements hanging on the barn doors, garland on the ceremony table, candles and stands, hanging cake display with foliage added, hanging foliage and flowers over the sweetheart table, candles and stands.
The colors were a little different, the muted gold, peach, cream. More whimsical look, all the things we like
Bouquet $275, pieces for doors $150 each, urn arrangements $275 each, hanging cake display $95, hanging foliage and flowers over table $425” – Lesley of Flowers by Lesley
Cake: Baker’s Cottage Cakes
“The team of vendors is a wonderful and talented team. I love Bridal Oaks Venue as well, so I was incredibly honored to collaborate with everyone.
We provided a three-tier wedding cake adorned with handmade sugar flowers. The color pallet provided was our main inspiration for the cake.
We provide our couples with several options, so the price would vary, depending on the menu selections and if they chose to have us make sugar flowers if they used real flowers provided by their florist. To answer your question the price range would be approximately $370.00 to $750.00.” – Baker’s Cottage Cakes
Vintage Couch & Ladder Lights: Heartwood Events
“One of the many services we offer for our couples are vintage rentals and we were so excited to use 2 of our items for the shoot! We provided the perfect vintage floral couch for the sweetheart table and our ladder structure with hanging lights.
The planner provided inspo pictures and we agreed these 2 items were literally perfect for the day! Our rental services are offered exclusively to Bridle Oaks brides.” – Heartwood Events
“As a photographer and as a current bride to be-a really important lesson I learned planning this shoot as well as planning my own wedding I have learned to think out of the box and be resourceful. We really wanted this shoot to feel like you were transported to another world, but still wanted to maintain modern-day wedding styles. Utilizing extra greenery, and really paying attention to fabric truly made our vision come to life.
Tell your vendors all of your ideas, even the wild ones! You never know what can truly be achieved when you have an incredibly talented team. Don’t be afraid to get creative!” – Shaina
